Ensemble Discovery is seeking a chemist for a 6-month temporary assignment to support efforts in the preparation of DNA Programmed combinatorial libraries. This scientist will work as a team member for the synthesis, purification, and analysis of modified oligonucleotides. The ideal candidate will feel at home in a fast-paced and multi-disciplinary environment, working independently and in a highly-organized manner.
Responsibilities of this position will include:
- Work-up of bioconjugate products, including sample preparation by HPLC purification and LC-MS analysis.
- Management and organization of analytical data in an electronic environment.
- Assist in the management of inventories for DNA programmed chemistry reagents.
Education and Requirements:
- BS or MS degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in one of the following areas is essential: oligonucleotide chemistry, bioconjugate chemistry or HPLC purification.
- Familiarity with chemical informatics and electronic inventory systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
