Partnering/Strategic Alliances

Partnering is an essential element of our business model. Interested companies can access our technology and expertise through R&D collaborations and licensing arrangements. Ensemble currently has a collaborative partnership with Roche and in 2006 became the first commercial partner of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Ensemble is actively seeking collaborations in drug discovery as well as the development of novel detection reagents, probes and diagnostic kits.

For our therapeutics program, we have two principal partnering models:

  1. Collaborations that deploy our proprietary Programmed Macrocycles™ against challenging pharmaceutical targets of mutual interest and high medical and commercial value
  2. Licensing of proprietary Ensemble drug discovery programs that are ongoing

For our biodetection and diagnostic program, we are interested in partners for each of the business outputs of the following type:

  1. Diagnostic companies interested in developing DPC™-based products for use in a fluorescent cell sorting (FACS) or immunohistochemistry (IHC)-based format
  2. Research reagent companies interested in marketing DPC-based protein assays to the research community
  3. Diagnostic laboratory service companies interested in partnering the development and/or marketing of our cancer diagnostic services, including our EGFR family dimerization program.
